As I’ve been meaning to keep this blog updated more often, here I am!!! 😀 Today I’d like to talk about travelling. Well, actually, I’d like to share my travels! 😀

Like Bilbo

I’m one of those people who love to travel, and it’s not for the bragging rights. Okay, not completely, haha 😉 I sometimes wish Bilbo Baggins was real. What are you talking about, Imee? He IS real! No, seriously. I wish to be like he was portrayed in the films (yep, I have not read any of the Tolkien books, shocker), someone who’s adventurous and, in some ways, brave.

Travel often

Since 2011, I’ve always made it a point to travel at least once a year. So, for the past few years, I have been to a bunch of different tourist destinations, resorts, and cities in the Philippines, and have been out of the country twice on vacation (Singapore and Thailand). This year, I was originally planning to go to London, England, but it may need to be set back to make room for work-related travel somewhere in Arizona, USA.

So as I mentioned, until I finally make it to London, I shall share with you some of the places I’ve gone to in and around the country since 2011. There’s more from years before, but those shall be for another time. If you have any suggestions of places to visit, even the odd ones no one’s really heard of, let me know! 😉

April 2011 – Pampanga, Philippines

My then company went to Fontana Leisure Parks and Casino for our summer outing.

June 2011 – Vigan, Ilocos Sur, and Pagudpud/Laoag, Ilocos Norte, Philippines

A few months later, some friends and I went to Ilocos. Both the southern and northern parts have plenty of tourist destinations, and here are the highlights of our trip:

March 2012 – Singapore

This is my first plane ride out of the country, so needless to say I was pretty stoked. Funny story, we were supposed to watch a Foo Fighters concert, but Dave cancelled exactly a week before (prick! LOL KIDDING) so we went to Universal Studios instead. 😉

April 2012 – Batangas, Philippines

I was still with my previous company, and this time for our summer outing we went to Club Balai Isabel. It’s very near the world-famous Taal Volcano/Lake (Google it, it’s amazing). We had a Hawaiian and Tiki inspired theme, which was pretty cool.

June 2012 – Tagaytay, Batangas, Philippines

This was probably my last out-of-town team-building activity with my previous company. We went to Tagaytay Highlands, and had a right good time!

March 2013 – Subic Bay, Philippines

The company I was with before was pretty cool in terms of summer outing destinations. Last year, we went to Camayan Beach Resort, which was next door to Ocean Adventure. I was also able to perform two songs on stage, so that was a pretty cool bonus!

June 2013 – Bangkok and Pattaya, Thailand

I went abroad with my family for the first time (except for my brother who was on another trip that time). It’s far different from a vacation with friends. Such fun, and Thailand is a gorgeous country!

It’s now 2014, and I can’t wait for my next adventure, wherever (and whenever!) that will be. 🙂 Thanks for reading!
