Am I the Only One Not Into Android?

Disclaimer: This is not a hate post about the Android OS. I am merely wondering if I’m the only BlackBerry fangirl left on the planet.
I have never owned an Android gadget. Not a phone, not a tablet, not a computer.
In such a tech-driven era as now, it’s a wonder someone like myself isn’t all crazy about Android. I see it as an operating system for geeks, yet it’s user-friendly enough that even neo-Luddites and people over 70 can use it.
Don’t get me wrong, I love technology. I have been so curious about electronics and computers since I was a child, back when technology wasn’t so cool (read: late 80s to early 90s). I’m the kind of person my older siblings got irate with because I tinkered with their personal computers. I’m the person whom my family calls upon to set the VCR (hey, 90s kid here!) or set the answering machine. People ask for my help as if I’m from tech support.
Yeah, as if not looking at your enclosed user guides isn’t insulting to my line of work (I am a technical writer and I basically create these documents and help/guides for a lot of your gadgets).
I always play around with gadgets, wondering how they work. I once (or twice) nearly destroyed my iPod Video (yes, the one with the clickwheel) because I was trying to customise it without even really knowing how.
I’m the only one I know who willingly owns and actually enjoys a BlackBerry. Most people I know who have it actually only own one because of work, or it was free with a phone plan.
I code, even if I did not have a computer engineering major or anything remotely close of a background.
I can modify my iOS gadgets without jailbreaking them. I know Nokia’s Symbian, even if only for a little bit.
I have installed and run a multi-boot computer on several laptops. I willingly bought a used MacBook because I prefer it over Windows. I also actually enjoy Windows, and I’m sad they’re stopping support for Windows XP. I had fun learning MS-DOS and all other sorts of command-line systems back in grade school. I love Linux, and actually use Ubuntu not because it’s free.
Why am I so Android-phobic, then? I really do not know.
Maybe it’s the little green robot.
